Airborne sightings in the port town of Koge are occurring at a time of escalating tensions within the Baltic region. They also accompany similar sightings elsewhere.
Several drones were observed flying over the port of Koege, located southwest of Copenhagen, as stated by Danish police on Saturday.
They stated that the origins of the drones were unclear and reported the incident to Denmark’s PET domestic intelligence service.
This incident takes place amidst increased anxiety in the Nordic and Baltic regions about possible Russian hybrid assaults following a recent series of undersea cable disruptions.

Law enforcement Officials were summoned to the Marina in Koege on Friday evening following a witness’s report of spotting the drones.
Police noticed four drones before they rapidly disappeared over the ocean.
There is currently a lack of clarity on their origins, purpose, or who is responsible for deploying them.
At that time, there were no permits available for drone flights in that area.
Reports of drone sightings have been noted in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany.
Drones of mysterious origin have frequently been seen hovering above power plants and airfields in Scandinavia over the past few years. Officials have thus far been unable to determine who is responsible for sending them.
In the past few weeks, a significant number of unidentified drones have been observed flying over the state of New Jersey in the US and in the eastern part of the country, prompting theories and worries about their origin and purpose.
