‘No room’ in Peter Dutton’s economy for manufacturing

Assistant Trade Minister Tim Ayres says the introduction of nuclear power in Australia would leave “no room” for electricity-hungry businesses.

Queensland will be facing an $872 billion economic black hole as a result of the Coalition’s election vow to construct seven nuclear power plants by 2050, government modelling has now revealed.

“Dutton’s message to Aussie manufacturers is, don’t bother trying, look elsewhere, off-shore.”

There’s no space in Peter Dutton’s economy for manufacturing.
