Will the market be able to build on this on Wednesday? Here are five things to keep an eye on:

ASX 200 expected to rebound again

Shares are one of the top picks in the Asia-Pacific area. This morning, the broker has added the company that mines mineral sands and rare earths to its highly-regarded Asia-Pacific conviction list. Goldman Sachs has awarded the company a conviction buy rating and a price target of $7.70. The broker points out that “Zircon (used in ceramics and chemicals) is one of the best structural supply side stories in commodities.”

Oil prices rise

The WTI crude oil price has crocked up 0.95% to $74.25 a barrel and the Brent crude oil price has lifted 1% to $77.05 a barrel. Concerns over supply disruptions have given oil prices a bit of a boost on Tuesday night.

Gold price pushes higher

It’s now up 0.6% to $2,663.60 an ounce, thanks to a weakening US dollar.

Premier Investments pay day
